I'm glad that celebrities use their fame for good works. Brangelina? Go on with your bad selves in Haiti. Sean Penn? Sure, get in that rowboat and paddle around New Orleans. Paul Newman? Thank you for your delish Peach Salsa. But why do they have to take themselves so SERIOUSLY?

That's why I'm heartened by William Shatner. Dude might be a bloated crazy alkie, but at least he has a sense of humor. And really, $25K is reasonable when you consider where that thing has been. Space ain't the only final frontier!
