YOUR 15 MINUTES: Twin Nose Jobs...and I don't mean Mary Kate and Ashley

Did you have your fill of the generic roses and babies breath bouquet, heart-shaped boxes full of candy, pastel hearts that taste like chalk, "I love you" teddy bears made in Taiwan and dinner in overcrowded restaurants this Valentine's Day? Well start saving your money for next year because here's a new idea to celebrate your love: couples plastic surgery.

Those crazy Chinese people are taking their obsession with plastic surgery to a whole new level: couples are going under the knife to get their noses and even their eyes done as a sign of their love for one another! Liu Yan, a 24 year old female, decided to go under the knife with her 28 year-old boyfriend to get matching nose jobs. Her rationale "I suggested it as a way of celebrating our relationship and bringing us closer together with a special kind of bond." Liu said her boyfriend "loved the idea" and readily paid the 10,000 yuan ($1,200) for the surgery. They are very happy with the results. ...and just in case you aren't sick of red roses yet...some clinics offer Valentine's Day packages complete with free roses (because it makes much more sense to shell out thousands of bucks for surgery to get those free roses instead of dropping $19.99 at your local grocer). Last time I checked, having matching noses usually means you're genetically similar. I know my boyfriend and I aren't really going for the "related" look. What ever happened to good, old, trashy matching tattoos? I guess "Liu Yan" tattooed down his arm just doesn't carry the same level of commitment as walking around with the same nose on their faces.
