FASHION FIX: America's next top designer? Really?

3o something year-old designer Chloe Dao won Project Runway last night making her America's next top designer or something. Overall the final runway show was hardly exciting. Daniel and Santino managed to pull out some decent designs that we showed you like a month ago. Please click here if you need to be reminded.

I'm happy for Chole because she has a sad little rags-to-riches story about spending part of her life in a family camp in Vietnam with her 8 sisters BUT...just because I feel bad for her and wanted something nice to happen to her doesn't mean I have think she's talented. Her designs were a total snooze button all season. So, with Chloe being an up-and-coming designer, I'm totally hoping this monstrosity she created doesn't find it's way to my local Neiman Marcus :
It's like my 94 year-old Aunt Veras curtains and a 1980's bridesmaid's dress from a fire hall wedding all sewn into one tragic garmet with side orders of tacky bow and bubble hem.

P.S. Don't cry for Daniel, Argentina. At the end of the show, Michael Kors told Daniel that if he needed a job to call him. I think I'd rather be a 20-something up-and-coming designer with a job offer from Michael Kors than a 30-something up-and-coming designer with a new Saturn and $100,000 of conditional Banana Republic money.
