Lance Bites Off More Than He Can Chew

Lance Armstrong, who ran the ING New York City Marathon yesterday in less than 3 hours, said that he may have bit off more than he could chew.
"For the level of condition that I have now, that was without a doubt the hardest physical thing I have ever done," he said after the race. "I never felt a point where I hit the wall. It was really a gradual progression of fatigue and soreness."
Armstrong, who is now 35 years old, placed 856th out of more than 35,000 runners. His goal was to run the course in less than three hours which he barely accomplished, coming in at 2:59:36. The week before the race, Lance told the press, "I've been training some, but I wouldn't call it serious. It's just something to fill a void in my life after I quit competing as a professional cyclist."
Don't worry, Lance. You can go back to sipping colorful cocktails with umbrellas with your boyfriend, McConaugay. Daddy will make it bettah... mmhmm
