Bijou is a real jewel

Well, I guess things are going really well in LA for relocated New Yorker Bijou Phillips. When Stuff magazine asked her what she missed most about New York she had this to say: "The people, the culture, the art, the intelligence, my friends - everything. People who have something to say and have read a book besides 'The Da Vinci Code.' It's horrible. Even the intellectual people in Los Angeles are retarded. It's embarrassing." I bet she's making a lot of new friends with that attitude. I personally think Bijou Phillips is embarrassing. For a girl who had her insane hijinx gracing PageSix for years, she has quite a superiority complex. Speaking of which, when asked if she would have done anything different to avoid being a Page Six fixture as a "wild child" teen, Phillips replies, "I definitely would have had a little more tact and not drunk so much alcohol."
