Laura Lee Medley, 35, from Los Angeles was in a drunken driving accident that left her paralyzed and using a wheelchair. She sustained additional injuries while trying to navigate her wheelchair and sued in at least four California cities due to their lack of accessibility for individuals with mobility difficulties, which is a really serious problem. She recently was taken to a hospital by police and while she was waiting for her examination, she just got up and sprinted through the hospital corridors! It’s a Christmas miracle!
