Weekend Report: Kicking the Bucket

Dean McDermott is one step closer to getting hisgrubby, wife-leaving hands on the Spelling fortune. Aaron Spelling sadly passed away yesterday from complications of the stroke he suffered last weekend. ...and I'm sure old age had something to do with it--he was 83. Spelling set a record of producing more than 3,000 TV shows. Besides the TV movies, he produced 10 theatrical films including "California Split," "Mr. Mom." "'night, Mother," "Loose Cannons" and "Soapdish." It was reported that Tori and her brother Randy (he was on my old, favorite soap Sunset Beach -- which was cancelled and replaced with Passions) were able to fly to Beverly Hills to be with their dad. I read somewhere that Tori decided to fly there after hearing her mother was on a vacation in Las Vegas with a male friend. I go on vacation with my male friends (without my boyfriend) so I can legitimately believe that but who the hell goes on vacation with a male friend when their husband is old and dying? I used to think Tori was the problem in their strained relationship but it sounds like it might be Candy. Tori and Candy -- those are total stripper names. Anyway, I wonder how Tori is going to adjust "So NoTORIous" to deal with the loss. On the show, her "father" talked to her through an intercom so that shoudn't be too hard to work around.

JonBenet Ramsey's mother, Patsy, also went to that big, scary beauty pageant in the sky this weekend. She had been battling cancer for the past ten years. I bet she already has little JonBenet covered in extra-long lash afterlife mascara. [source]
