A promising young woman British chess player taking part in a chess tournament in the Czech Republic has died after a mystery fall from her hotel room. Jessie Gilbert, 19, fell Wednesday from the eighth floor of her hotel in the central city of Pardubice. When I saw the first sentence of this story I was like: She must’ve been killed by another tournament member who got rid of her because she was the only person in the way to victory…or she was pushed from the window in a jealous rage after she was caught by the wife of the judge she was sleeping with. I’ve been watching too much Law and Order: SVU/CSI. The story continues with: there are conflicting reports that she could have been sleepwalking and had suffered from depression. Sleepwalking?
