FASHION FIX: SATC Created The Market For This...

In 1998, America was looking for its next fashion icon and found it in an unlikely place – the small screen. Carrie Bradshaw’s clothes almost instantly became more famous than the actress her played her. Carrie’s clothes were everything from fashion-forward to bold to original to quirky to just plain ugly. Carrie single hand(bag)idly brought the eccentric fashion mix-and-not match accessories to life. While I praise her character and the wardrobe team at Sex and the City for their clothing creativity, I also blame them for the aftermath. For the past 8 or so years, one cannot turn a corner without running into mismatched girls with wacky, tacky accessories running around acting like they are the real-life Carrie Bradshaw. So without further ado I present to you what every girl needs: The $750 BLT ring. Composed of five stackable individual rings—a bacon ring, a tomato ring, a lettuce ring and two bread rings—it's available in Sterling Silver for $150 or multicolored 14k Gold for $750.
