I only get the part about the ligers. What does 15 children and several more wives mean? I'm not getting the joke.
They went to Brigham Young University. They're Mormon. Some people loosely affiliated with the Mormon Church believe in polygamy (multiple wives). People in polygamous relationships usually have a million and a half kids. So basically I was mixing a religious stereotype with a character reference from his hit movie “Napoleon Dynamite.” Guess it wasn’t that funny since I have to explain it. Looks like I took my useless knowledge to the extreme once again... ;)

Ahhh!!! I had no idea they were Mormon. Had I known, then that would have been hilarious. Since I did not, I have perverted this entire entry into a tedious disaster. I should be drawn and quartered.
