It's Bullshit, Baby!

TrimSpa just had the wind knocked out of them. No, Anna Nicole Smith is still the spokeswoman (or in her case she's more of a slur-woman). TrimSpa is one of four diet pill companies (other are Xenadrine EFX, One A Day Weight Smart and CortiSlim) being sued by the FTC for $25 million after making false advertising claims ranging from rapid weight loss to reducing the risk of osteoporosis, cancer and Alzheimer's. [source]This stuff cracks me up: Look people, if $10 pills from Wal-Mart made you lose 53 pounds in a month, there wouldn't be a need for size XXXL, non-fat ranch dressing or gyms. Last time I checked, those all still exist (unfortunate, isn't it?). Personally, I think the dumbasses who believe that TripSpa will cure cancer (or even make you skinny) should also be fined for being SO DUMB. I'm always amused by those commercials that are like "are you significantly overweight? do you need to lose lots of weight but don't want to have surgery? well then buy our fiber pills conveniently named after the cosmetic procedure that you'll never be able to afford as to infer that they might actually produce the same results. .. and even if you could realistically afford real lipsuction, it wouldn't help because you're too damn fat. This product is clinically proven to show that some Americans are fat, lazy idiots who will waste their minimum wage on twinkies and overpriced capsules filled with fiber, caffeine and some stupid placebo herb." Wow. I just went off. I guess we know where I stand on this issue - If it looks too good to be true, it is usually too good to be true.

I just saw the fine print on a Lipozene commercial. It says that you will lose 3.86 lbs in 8 weeks. Like you can't do better than that with a healthy diet or a little exercise.

my boyfriend actually ordered lipozene once. funny story. the worst part was that he tried to return it and they told him that they just did a new research study that said you have to double the dose. so he believed them and they sent him more. actually no, the worst part is that he isn't even fat.

You can easily and healthily lose 1 pound a week (even more if you're fat) so 3.86 pounds in two months is crap.

Ahahah lipozene! Same stuff. I just saw a commercial and this is a quote:
"Research has now discovered a capsule" that reduces body weight! Like some dam 'research scientist botany archaeologists' dug up some pills that somehow... just occur... in nature....naturally...and in capsule form. Freaking fantastic man!!! It's weird though.... I would think YOU CAN DO A LOT BETTER THAN THIS BULL!#$#... as well as what with all the lies and misinformation!
