Guessing Game...

from PageSix:

WHICH hip-hop legend is going to go broke paying child support? Besides his known baby mamas, seven months ago, a member of his entourage gave birth to another child of his, which was the last straw for his girlfriend.

Sean Combs. For those of you who don't know, P. Diddy's babies' momma Kim Porter just left him after twin girls in Dec and 10 years of off-and-on relationship matters. He seriously pays out like tens of thousands of dollars per month per kid.

Questionable Quotes: Note to 50 Cent - Next Time It Might Be Beneficial To Attack Someone A Little Less Influential

50 Cent doesn’t like Oprah. OOOOOoohhh….a rapper doesn’t like someone. Shocking. I’m sure Oprah(the richest African American of the 20th century, the most philanthropic African American of all time, the world's only black billionaire for three straight years and according to more than one appraisal, the world's most powerful woman) hasn’t slept since she heard the news that the crack-dealer-turned-bulletproof-vest-wearing/bullet-hole-laden rapper isn’t her #1 fan. First Fiddy accused Oprah of catering to “older white women.” Since that wasn’t particularly hateful, he called her an Oreo. In case you’re haven’t been studying your racial slur handbook recently - it means white on the inside, black on the outside. Now he’s bashing her again with:

"She doesn't ever say anything that anybody from the ghetto is gonna ID with. Take a poll. You go out and find me some young black women who ID with Oprah...She can escape the fact that she's black because she's a billionaire."

Wait a second…”Escape the fact that she’s black?” What is he talking about? Didn’t she just build a school for girls in Africa? Maybe Fiddy should sign up. Poor thing. I think Fiddy's starting to get a little confused in the head. Must be lead poisoning.

Mood Music: Bone Thugs

I've been really "into" posting random old rap music in this column so here I go again: I used to looooooooooove Bone Thugs N Harmony and my boyfriend haaaaaaaaaaaaaaated them. I'm not quite sure why. We love most old rap/hip hop/. Anyway, the other day we watched some stupid VH1 Hip Hop Awards and Bone Thugs did this song in honor of Eazy E and Chris was like "I actually like this". It only took him like 11 years.

Questionable Quotes: The Justification of Ho

Snoop Dogg, a fan of the word "hos," commented on Imus, the 187 year-old Whitey McWhitey bigot who used to term on-air (along with the adjective nappy-headed) to describe black female basketball players. Here's what Snoop had to say:"It's a completely different scenario. [Rappers] are not talking about no collegiate basketball girls who have made it to the next level in education and sports. We're talking about hos that's in the 'hood that ain't doing s**t, that's trying to get a n**ga for his money. These are two separate things. First of all, we ain't no old-ass white men that sit up on MSNBC going hard on black girls. We are rappers that have these songs coming from our minds and our souls that are relevant to what we feel. I will not let them muthaf**kas say we are in the same league as him. Kick him off the air forever." [source]

Snoop Dogg - the modern moral compass of America - pointing us straight to the justification of the term ho. I would have an easier time reading this comment if he did not star that Girls Gone Wild Spring Break - you know, degrading college-aged girls who were out of the hood and doing shit. Time to go back to the drawing board with that comment - I understand his point, it's just that no matter how you package it up, it's still a big box of wrong. This is honestly a double-edged sword for me - people have the freedom to say whatever they want in our country. I just don't understand why they would want to degrade young women when their only actions were working hard both on and off the court (playing Division I sports isn't a walk in the park). I also don't understand why people have to keep bringing it back to race. If he wanted to be mean, he could easily have gone the less caustic tranny insult route - works on almost any female athlete regardless of race (and I'm not justifying/supporting mysogny). BUT WHY BE MEAN TO THESE WOMEN IN THE FIRST PLACE? In the meantime, I'm leaning toward Snoop's "kick him off the air for good" comment - personally I don't want some inarticulate century-old cowboy-hat-wearing asshole making tons of money of consistently bigoted comments - it's the same reason I don't like Ann Coulter and her Adam's apple minus the cowboy hat. Instead, let's fill his place with someone who can shock people with their intelligence.

Questionable Quotes: 50 cent and half a dis

Fifty Cent called into Hot 97's Miss Jones morning show in NYC yesterday to respond to Tony Yayo's assault case. Yayo, a member of G Unit allegedly attacked Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond's 14-year-old son. Fiddy said that G Unit had nothing to do with the attack. Then he added his $.02:

"Worry about the Je-Je-Je-Jew unit. They're the real goon squad. When the lawyers come out, you'll see what it is. I don't pay nobody. I only pay the lawyers."

I’m confused. Who is the Je-Je-Je-Jew Unit? Is that anti-Semitic or is that just how he normally refers to his lawyers? If so, does he not realize that generally goon means a stupid person. Unless he’s smarter than we all think and he’s referring to goon in the sense of a person hired to intimidate opponents but even that doesn’t really make sense… What gangsta hires a jew lawyer to intimidate his opponents? I think 50 was just shot in the head 8 too many times. He needs to get off the radio and go back to the club with a bottle full of bub.

**Update**

Jimmy Henchman went on the offensive against 50 Cent this morning on WQHT radio station in New York. Henchman who manages former G-Unit partner, The Game said 50 is “very immature and must be the Special Education Rapper.”

Snap. Now that’s clear and concise.
